Nominations for the 2018 Canadian Tourism Awards have been extended until midnight Tuesday June 26th, and we encourage you to participate and celebrate your company's achievements over the past year, honour a dedicated staff or recognize another organization or business in the industry.

As part of the many benefits offered by TIAC, members do not pay the nomination fee when making a submission to the Canadian Tourism Awards.

The Canadian Tourism Awards are presented annually by TIAC and the Toronto Star to recognize success, leadership and innovation in Canada's tourism industry. They reward those people, places, organizations and events that have gone above and beyond to offer travellers superior tourism experiences in Canada.

The Canadian Tourism Awards have become the standard of excellence for businesses and organizations in the travel industry, showcasing the nation's best tourism products, services and experiences.  This year’s awards ceremony takes place November 28th, 2018 at the Hilton Lac-Leamy, Gatineau, QC.

New Award Category - WestJet Airport Innovation and Excellence Award
A new category for 2018, the Airport Innovation and Excellence Award, sponsored by WestJet, will be presented to an airport, airport authority or individual with an airport or airport authority whose strategy or program enhances the experience and/or the safety of travellers, thereby contributing to Canada’s reputation as a top international destination.

Nominations can include innovation and excellence in one or more of the following areas: customer experience, environmental management, infrastructure development, operations, non-aeronautical development and technology.
