Sustainable & Regenerative READI Training

The Sustainable & Regenerative tourism training will build capacity and share knowledge, that will be relevant to any business or organization who works within the tourism ecosystem. The content is relevant, tangible, and timely. The sharing of best practices and case studies of success will inspire, motivate, and equip participants to take positive action resulting in potential cost savings, increased resiliency to future weather events and improved ability to measure and monitor key metrics as they relate to consumption.

TIAC endorses the GreenStep Sustainable & Regenerative READI course and recommends it as your business works toward the assessment and verification necessary to achieve the Sustainable Tourism READI stamp.

Sustainable & Regenerative READI Resources

Our industry was one of the hardest hit by the pandemic. To recover to pre-pandemic levels and grow again, businesses must rethink their strategies and how best to navigate a post-pandemic world. To that end, the Tourism Industry Association of Canada, the national voice and champion of the industry, developed the READI Program. The platform will guide the industry through the turbulence of the coming months and years and equip businesses with the tools and resources they need to innovate for a sustainable future and long-term economic growth.

Nestled within the READI Program is a three-phase Sustainable Tourism Program. The first phase, our Sustainability Tourism Symposiums, launched on January 10. and you can watch one of the recorded sessions here.
