Rachel's deep connection to Tofino’s breathtaking landscapes inspired and shaped her tourism journey. Living among ancient rainforests, rugged coastlines, and the ever-changing ocean inspired Rachel to join tourism, driven by a passion for environmental stewardship and storytelling. At Tin Wis Resort Ltd and Tla-o-qui-aht Tribal Parks, she helps visitors form meaningful connections with both the land and the rich culture of the Tla-o-qui-aht people. Rachel is a dynamic leader in tourism. She spearheaded the resort’s 10-Year Tourism Vision and launched initiatives like the Tin Wis Historical blog, blending cultural preservation with community-driven tourism.
