Powering Tourism Growth: TIAC's Regional Roundtable Series

The Tourism Industry Association of Canada (TIAC) Regional Roundtable is a strategic gathering designed to bring together national, regional, and local tourism stakeholders. This forum fosters collaboration, aligns priorities, and explores key opportunities and challenges shaping the industry. Delegates will engage in high-level discussions, share insights, and work toward actionable solutions that drive sustainable growth and resilience in Canada’s tourism sector.

The day will begin with opening remarks and a National Issues Forum, where industry leaders will discuss pressing tourism challenges and opportunities. This will be followed by roundtable discussions, allowing delegates to delve deeper into specific industry topics and share perspectives from their regions.

After a networking lunch, delegates will choose between two concurrent afternoon sessions:

Regional Issues Forum– Featuring a Regional/Provincial Panel, Themed Roundtable Discussions, and a Report Back Session to consolidate key insights and strategies.

Belong Café Circle, hosted by Tourism HR Canada – An interactive session fostering networking, collaboration, and community-building among tourism businesses, associations, and disability employment service providers. Through World Café-style discussions and lightning talks, this session will explore Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Accessibility (IDEA) in tourism workplaces and highlight resources to attract and retain talent from underrepresented workforce pools.

Please note: Space for the Belong Café Circle session is limited and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
