Parks Canada manages 46 national parks, one national urban park, four national marine conservation areas and 171 national historic sites, including 12 of Canada’s 19 UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

We’re proud to welcome 25 million visitors to these protected places annually in collaboration with our tourism industry partners. These visitors contribute to local economies. As an added benefit, connecting with nature makes us healthier and happier and the more time we spend outdoors, the more we want to protect and preserve our natural spaces.
