“After a long election period this fall, TIAC looks forward to welcoming returning and new MPs to Ottawa.” Stated Charlotte, “With a minority government in place, we look forward to cooperating with all parties to ensure tourism voices are heard.”
As federal representatives settle into their roles in Ottawa, and we await the announcements of who will form the next Cabinet, the TIAC Team is busy preparing to advocate on behalf of the industry to all stakeholders. Building on the momentum of the Vote Tourism campaign, we look forward to meeting with tourism champions from across Canada and across party lines to educate MPs on the MAP(P) to success – that being Marketing, Access, Product, and People policies to help improve tourism in Canada. Stay tuned for news as we begin to meet with government officials about why #TourismMatters.
