TIAC congratulates The Thompson-Okanagan Tourism Association’s Embracing Our Potential program for making the list of finalists for the 15th annual World Tourism Organization awards. The awards recognize inspirational projects that have made advances towards sustainable tourism.

The company’s program was selected for the award among non-governmental organizations, which includes projects from Spain and Switzerland.

The awards release date has yet to be announced, but stay tuned as TIAC will be sure to post the information.

In early December, TOTA was recognized for its work on the international stage with the World’s Responsible Tourism Award at World Travel Awards in Portugal.

TIAC is delighted to see one of its members getting recognition on the international stage. Congratulations TOTA and best of luck with this newest accolade!
