RC Show 2019, held February 24 to 26 in Toronto, was the most ambitious yet. More than 800 exhibitors covered 250 000 square feet of the show floor with wares, services, brands and experiences of every description across five pavilions, eight stages and four hospitality events, all with an eye on sustainability.

Restaurant of the Future
Inspired by today’s technology and tomorrow’s aspirations, the sustainable restaurant concept invited attendees to join in on an interactive journey, showcasing the most sustainable, ethical and traceable industry practices.

RC Leadership Conference
Featuring Terry O’Reilly (brand and marketing expert of CBC’s Under the Influence), Angela Donnelly (the founder of leadership program Corethentic), Natalie Green (the Head of Industry: Food & Beverages at Google) and Donald Burns (The Restaurant Coach™ and author of Your Restaurant Sucks!), the RC Leadership Conference addressed how to cultivate sustainability by shifting intent, using unconventional wisdom to solve your business’ problems and expose the number one operational mistake restaurants make. Under the same roof for the first time ever and led by Restaurants Canada’s Senior Economist, Chris Elliott, Ipsos, NPD Group and Technomic shared how foodservice industry growth is impacted by using consumer-grounded data and forward-looking strategic insights.

Breakfast with Champions
Introduced ideas and trends transforming the world of hospitality, courtesy of the industry's foremost CEOs and restaurateurs including Adam Corrin, COO of Freshii; Chuck Muth, Chief Growth Officer of Beyond Meat and Manjit Minhas, co-founder of Minhas Breweries, Distillery and Winery.

TIAC congratulates Restaurants Canada for a first-rate conference that shines a well-deserved spotlight on a vital sector in Canadian tourism.

RC Show 2020, the 75th edition, will take place, March 1-3, at the Enercare Centre, Toronto, ON. For more, visit RCShow.com.
