At the height of Canada’s tourism high season, July shows record numbers of international tourists from several inbound markets. While numbers from South Korea and Japan are still down from last year, Canada saw double digit growth from our European target markets with French and German visitors up over 12%, and a 22.5% increase in visitors from the United Kingdom over last July.

Mexico also continues to be a robust market, up 19.4% and India is also showing strong growth at 10.7%

Overall, tourism numbers are up 4.6% year-to-date. If this momentum continues, we should see another record year for our tourism industry!
