Tourism is a vital component to the sustainability of Yukon’s economy. It remains the territory’s second-largest industry, contributes over 100 million to Yukon’s GDP and generates jobs for approximately 25% of the territory’s employed residents.

At Tourism Yukon, we support the development of our industry in the following ways:

Industry Services

The Industry Services unit offers tourism Product Development advice and counselling, along with visitor Research data and information regarding Resource and Land Planning. Industry Services is also responsible for managing the Product Development Partnership Program and the Tourism Cooperative Marketing Fund. Want to make your business ideas into a reality? Marketing

The Marketing team takes your market and export ready tourism products and shouts them out to the world! We work with tour operators, suppliers, travel agents, travel media and meeting professionals to attract international visitors to your unique business and our beautiful backyard.

Visitor Services

Visitor Services play an important role in promoting your experiences to tourists once they are in Yukon. At our six Visitor Information Centres (VICs) we provide high quality information that encourages visitors to stay longer, spend more money, revisit a region, or experience more of the amazing surprises that our territory has to offer.
