Roosevelt Campobello International Park

Tourism Business - Attraction

The Park is located on Campobello Island in southwestern New Brunswick, Canada. The Park was founded in 1964 by joint legislation in Canada and the United States as the first and only International Park of its kind. This International Park is an example of the friendship and co-operation of the two nations in creating a living memory in honour of President Franklin Roosevelt who, along with his family spent many summers on Campobello Island. The Roosevelt’s historic summer cottage has been preserved in the Park, along with several other historic residences from the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The Park also includes 2,800 acres of natural areas with walking trails and miles of coastline to explore.
