Tourism Winnipeg is the city’s official destination marketing organization. Our mission is to facilitate a healthy, prosperous, responsible and fully-integrated tourism industry that enhances the city of Winnipeg’s economic growth, increases visitation and delivers the best possible visitor experience.

We lead the city’s destination sales and marketing efforts, conduct tourism research, act as the industry’s advocate and liaison, create partnership opportunities, collaborate with industry, leverage travel media, lead city bids and proposals and provide visitor information. Tourism Winnipeg is focused on business development that attracts meetings, conventions, sports and special events, travel trade and leisure visitors.

Tourism is a key economic driver for the city of Winnipeg, tourism spending supports more than 11,000 jobs tourism related jobs, representing approximately 3.8 million visitors each year and resulting in an estimated $673 million in direct expenditures.
