Parks Canada’s network of 47 national parks, 171 national historic sites and 5 national marine conservation areas welcome millions of visitors each year while providing Canadians with countless opportunities to create memories to last a lifetime.

Parks Canada’s destinations are located near 600 communities across Canada. As a cornerstone of Canada’s tourism industry, Parks Canada supports tourism businesses and local economic recovery by working collaboratively with partners to support regional tourism initiatives.

Parks Canada looks forward to continue working with industry partners to adapt to evolving trends and behaviours while reaching new domestic and international audiences through a number of initiatives such as developing visitor experiences, facilitating trip planning, and enhancing accessibility and inclusion.

As the tourism industry continues its recovery efforts post-pandemic, Parks Canada is committed to working together to re-imagine the future of tourism while continuing to provide a world-class offer.
