The Government of Canada is in the planning stages of its participation in Expo 2020, the World Fair that will take place in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE), from October 20, 2020 to April 10, 2021.  Canada’s Expo 2020 theme, The Future in Mind, serves as a platform to promote opportunities from across Canada and throughout all sectors of society. The Canada Pavilion as part of the Expo will serve as an important meeting place for Canadian business and innovators.   The week of December 1 to 7, 2020, will be dedicated to tourism and space.

The Government, led by Global Affairs Canada, is currently seeking Canadian businesses and organizations to participate in the Canadian Pavilion.  To this end, Tourism Branch, within Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada (ISED), is seeking interested tourism businesses and organizations who may wish to participate in the Canadian Pavilion at Expo 2020.

International Expos are a global platform used to share ideas, display innovation, encourage collaboration and celebrate human ingenuity. These world fairs bring together countries, companies, non-governmental organizations, multilateral organizations and millions of visitors in one place.

If you are interested in participating, or would like to receive more information, please contact directly:  Carolyne Zurawski, Tourism Branch, carolyne.zurawski@canada.ca, by January 16th, 2020.
