Job Description / Duties

We are searching for a remarkable, passionate person who will help execute against our content-first marketing strategy and bring our campaigns to life through engagement and design.

Responsibilities
Work with internal teams to help develop and monitor marketing strategies

Capture and create photography and videography content for use in various marketing initiatives

Write engaging social media, website, blog, and consumer/industry newsletter content

Manage content calendar and paid social media campaigns in collaboration with the marketing team

Develop marketing materials such as sales collateral, ensuring brand guidelines are met

Analyze and report on marketing efforts, including paid and organic social media metrics, website traffic, and email marketing campaigns

Work with the CTA community (destinations, restaurants, purveyors, etc.) to execute member marketing benefits and gather relevant content for CTA channels

Accompany the marketing team on various content marketing trips

Other duties as reasonably required

Qualifications / Required Skills

Based in Ontario with a valid driver’s license; ability to travel and work occasional evenings/weekends as necessary

Sound knowledge of Brand Marketing, Communications and Design

Experience with various marketing and analytics tools such as email marketing and social media scheduling platforms, Google Analytics, CRM systems, and Wordpress

Experience with graphic design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign

Excellent analytical skills and a knack for data analysis

Strong community management skills

University or College degree, ideally with a focus on Marketing and/or Communications

Strong knowledge of digital marketing strategies and tactics, including social media and social media advertising

Superior written and oral communication skills

Strong relationships with Ontario’s tourism industry are an asset

Experience with a DSLR camera for photography and videography an asset

Salary Range is $55,000 - $65,000, plus benefits.
The Culinary Tourism Alliance is certified as a Living Wage Employer. Compensation is based on previous experience and level of expertise.
