Job Description / Duties

We are searching for a remarkable, passionate person who will help engage and grow our member network and execute against our bilingual (French & English) content-first marketing strategy.

About the Role & Responsibilities
Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Membership Coordinator is the first point of contact for current and prospective members across the country. This role supports our strategic approach to membership growth and is committed to enhancing the overall member experience. Demonstrating excellent interpersonal and communication skills, the Membership Coordinator also has a strong content marketing background with the ability to execute member benefits including social media, newsletter, and blog content.

Responsibilities
Implement membership growth strategy and oversee the member renewal process

Utilize CRM to support membership management

Respond to inquiries from potential and active members to address questions and concerns promptly and effectively

Implement strategies to keep members actively involved in the organization's activities

Create and distribute marketing materials to promote membership benefits and opportunities.

Create and distribute regular newsletters or communications to members

Support the Marketing Team with social media and blog content creation relevant to member initiatives. This may include travelling with the team on special projects related to content marketing.

Collaborate with the Marketing Team to promote the organization and its initiatives

Support the development and distribution of member surveys to gather feedback and insights. Analyze survey results to identify areas for improvement and implement changes accordingly

Attend various conferences and events to support membership deliverables

Qualifications
Full professional proficiency in French and English is required. Being a Native French speaker and full fluency an asset.

Based in Ontario with a valid G-class driver’s license and access to your own reliable vehicle; ability to travel and work occasional evenings/weekends as necessary

Sound knowledge of brand marketing, communications, and design

Experience with various marketing and analytics tools such as email marketing and social media scheduling platforms, Google Analytics, CRM systems, and Wordpress

Experience with graphic design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign

Excellent analytical skills and a knack for data analysis

Strong community management skills

Post-secondary education an asset. A combination of education and relevant work experience will also be considered.

Strong knowledge of digital marketing strategies and tactics, including social media and social media advertising

Superior written and oral communication skills in French and English

Strong relationships with Ontario’s tourism industry are an asset

Experience with a DSLR camera for photography and videography an asset

Other stuff you will do

Salary Range is $55,000 - $65,000, plus benefits.
