Parliamentary Tourism Caucus
As part of our extensive advocacy efforts, TIAC works tirelessly to develop relationships with key policymakers on Parliament Hill to keep tourism front of mind and to encourage a “whole of government” approach.
One of the key venues that TIAC uses are Parliamentary Tourism Caucus events.
Held around 3 to 4 times annually, these events are organized and hosted by the Parliamentary Caucus Chair. TIAC and other tourism representatives are invited to present and engage with invited Members of Parliament from all political parties about the benefits and issues surrounding the Canadian tourism sector.
Over the years, these collaborative efforts have proven very successful in spreading TIACs advocacy messages, and are a testament to our ability to rally partnering organizations together on shared industry issues.
