Proudly, Donna joined TMAC as their CAO in May 2021 following an extensive career in the tourism industry from her homebase in Nova Scotia. As a passionate champion of ‘community economic development’, she brings a lens she calls ‘co-opetition’ to her work which has served as the motivation for creating opportunities like the wildly successful, February-long Nova Scotia Lobster Crawl.

In her work with Canada’s only travel media professional network, alongside the dynamic network of storytellers and industry professionals within TMAC’s membership, she’s an advocate of their work within the tourism industry – and the public. Acknowledging their role reaches well beyond ‘promotion’, filled with integrity, commitment and passion, members share – and amplify - the voices of the destinations, businesses and the experiences in Canada and beyond. Inspiring and engaging the traveling public through their published work in all channels, together with their industry colleagues, they are positively impacting the tourism industry, responsibly. The accredited, all Canadian Travel Media membership of TMAC, stretching from coast, to coast, to coast is an important partner for our sector as we ‘re-imagine tourism’, together.
