Ottawa, Ontario – Tuesday, March 18 – The Tourism Industry Association of Canada (TIAC) is proud to announce the launch of the READI™ program. This national tourism designation program, is designed to enhance adaptability, foster growth, and elevate competitiveness within Canada’s tourism industry.
The READI™ program equips tourism businesses with essential tools, resources, and training to navigate industry challenges and seize new opportunities. By providing practical support, the program helps operators improve market visibility, build consumer trust, and gain a competitive edge.
Spanning multiple streams, the first three programs to launch include Culinary & Agritourism, Export Tourism, and Sustainable & Regenerative Tourism, offering tailored support to meet diverse organizational goals. Participants completing their chosen READI™ designation, along with active TIAC membership, will be featured in the National Tourism READI™ Directory.
The READI™ designation will enable businesses to attract more visitors and contribute to stronger local and national economies.
