With the 2019 federal election only months away, it’s a great time to remind candidates from all political parties of the economic impacts of the sector and what’s needed to keep it moving forward.

To help, TIAC created an online Election Toolkit that will make it easy for you to help us amplify tourism’s message and keep our sector top-of-mind for political candidates.

This is an important election for tourism. While our extensive advocacy work has resulted in several wins in the 2019 federal budget, there’s still much to be done to grow tourism, and build on our existing wins.

The toolkit is “Election Central” for Canada’s tourism sector, providing a host of ready-made tools and resources you can start using right away including:

On July 3, we hosted an exclusive TIAC members-only webinar on the toolkit. Topics included what to expect leading up to the federal election, an overview of the election landscape, an introduction to the toolkit and how to use it.T
