Presented by TIAC and Destination Canada, the 2018 Tourism Town Halls series is well underway and proving to be a popular forum for small and medium-sized business operators across Canada to better understand efforts being made on national tourism issues.

Each Town Hall features insightful presentations followed by a lively Q & A session with an expert industry panel, which includes a representative from TIAC.

Toronto hosted a Town Hall on September 13, with a capacity crowd of 350 participants on hand to talk about local tourism issues. There was plenty of engagement and, as usual, great questions from the audience.

On September 25th, the Town Hall in Saskatoon counted just under 100 participants who discussed issues and asked questions of our expert panel. It was a strong turnout that reinforces the need for local voices to be heard.
