RVC 2023, hosted in Québec City was a huge success. Together, with Destination Canada, we hosted more than 1,500 delegates - including more than 400 buyers from 23 countries - who participated in 51,000 appointments over four days.
Events like RVC are vital in supporting the recovery of Canada’s tourism sector in the years ahead, driving prosperity back into local businesses and their communities. Now more than ever it is important for visitors around the world to know that Canada and its destinations are ready to welcome them back with open arms.
As co-hosts of Canada’s premier international tourism marketplace, we are aligned with Destination Canada’s goal to connect international travel buyers with Canadian tourism businesses to create meaningful opportunities for all delegates.
Alliance de l’industrie touristique du Québec partnered with Destination Quebec Cité to co-host Rendez-vous Canada 2023 to highlight export-ready products and experiences in the city and across the province. Destinations and experiences across Québec participated in the event and showcased their offerings. Additionally, Bonjour Québec and Destination Québec Cité hosted the Bonjour Québec reception, which showcased the province as a place of boundless variety, warmth and creativity.
We would like to thank all of our wonderful sponsors for their generous support of the Canadian tourism industry and RVC 2023, including this year’s Diamond Plus Sponsors: Air Canada, Explore Edmonton, Atlantic Canada, Travel Manitoba, Indigenous Tourism Association of Canada and Atlantic Canada.
