On February 4th and 5th, TIAC will lead a series of advocacy meetings with Parliamentarians during its annual Hill Days. 

TIAC will be joined by several members of its Board of Directors, representatives from the Provincial and Territorial Tourism Industry Association (PTTIA) as well as other industry stakeholders to deliver a unified message of core industry actionable recommendations on addressing key tourism issues to improve the travel economy.

Industry stakeholders will also join TIAC as we lead a lunchtime Parliamentary Tourism Caucus meeting with Chair, Gudie Hutchings MP with presentations by Meetings Mean Business Canada (MMBC) and Destination Canada.  TIAC will also host an evening reception on February 4 where we will be joined by the Honourable Minister of Tourism, Official Languages and La Francophonie, Mélanie Joly as well as many other Parliamentarians for an evening of networking and discussion about the importance of the travel economy.
