In February 2018, we sent out a survey to find out the issues and priorities that are important to our members.

It was also an opportunity to see how we’re delivering on our objectives to provide relevant, informative and engaging resources that directly meet your needs.

The survey was well received, with an above average response rate that shows our members wanted their voices heard.

We’d like to thank everyone who completed the survey. Your opinions matter to us, and will be used to help guide our future member activities.

Key findings from the survey:

Regardless of Membership Type or Sector, the top 3 reasons to join TIAC were:

1. Advocacy (72%)
2. TIAC Events - Networking (62%)
3. Research (59%)

Regardless of Membership Type or Sector, the most important advocacy issues are:

1. Cost Competitiveness (air travel levies, taxes and fees)
2. Marketing Budgets
3. Labour shortages (labour market information, skills training and access to international skilled labour)

1. Webinars with Industry Experts (56%)
2. Event Posting - National Event Calendar (55%)
3. Online Community Forum/Discussion Board (42%)
