The Culinary Tourism Alliance recently released its 2018 Impact Report on the Feast On® Ontario food tourism program.Feast On® is a certification that recognizes restaurants committed to sourcing and celebrating Ontario food and drink by helping connect chefs directly to food producers. Their goal is to increase awareness about local products, sourcing systems and sustainable practices, while building local food culture.

• As of September 30, 2018, there are 137 Feast On® Certified Restaurants.
• Certified restaurants reported over $25,140,000 in Ontario purchases last year.
• 52% is the average percentage of Ontario food on a Feast On® menu

The report also recognizes the rise of food tourism and the benefits and opportunities of local food tourism to Ontario communities.
