Welcome to Shediac, New Brunswick, the lobster capital of the world! This small coastal town of 7000 residents has been celebrating this economic driver and culinary delicacy for many years. In fact, the Shediac Lobster Festival is the oldest running festival in the province of New Brunswick. No matter the event attended, the authenticity of our festival leaves its 30,000 yearly attendees with the fondest memories. From musical concerts and culinary experiences to family entertainment and sporting events, the sense of unified celebration is felt by all.
