Since 2000 Brain Trust has been providing strategic destination planning and marketing services to Canada’s travel industry. Under the leadership of Richard Innes, a 35 year tourism industry professional, the firm has completed numerous tourism assignments within a Canadian context. BT are industry leaders in tourism industry research and analysis, strategic planning, statistical analysis, destination management, product and experience assessment and development, marketing and communications strategy, formation of strategic alliances, creative development and execution, industry consultation and working group facilitation. BT retains the services of a number of other professionals who, as needed, deliver a variety of services to its list of clients including art direction, writing, graphic design, web expertise, research, media planning and buying and legal/ governance modeling. Richard has been involved with numerous national and provincial tourism committee’s and advisory boards. He was a Board member of the Tourism Industry Association of Canada (TIAC) from 2007 – 2012 and was also on the Board of the Ontario Culinary Tourism Alliance. In 2012 Richard was awarded the Queen’s Jubilee Medal for his service to Canada’s tourism industry.
