Request For Proposal: Tourism Congress & Canadian Tourism Awards

The Tourism Industry Association of Canada (TIAC) is seeking proposals from destinations to host the Tourism Congress and the Canadian Tourism Awards, in 2024, 2025, 2026, 2027, and 2028.

The Tourism Congress is an annual event owned and produced by TIAC and is an essential opportunity for tourism stakeholders across Canada. Through interactive workshops, panel discussions, educational sessions featuring top-rated guest speakers, and networking events, the Tourism Congress is the industry’s passport to planning for success, growing businesses, and expanding horizons. Considering this exciting vision, TIAC has made a momentous decision to embark on a journey of taking the Tourism Congress across the country, showcasing the breathtaking event properties and captivating city attractions that Canada has to offer.

We kindly request that all interested parties submit their proposals, clearly indicating their preferred date(s), firm rates for hotel rooms and meeting space, as well as floor plans and any additional concessions they can offer, etc. Additionally, we would greatly appreciate a detailed description of the hotel's capabilities and how they plan to meet the stated requirements. Your comprehensive proposals will assist us in making well-informed decisions and ensure a successful collaboration.
