 rbon\n\nThe FastTrack to Sustainable Tourism is based upon GreenStep’s
  Sustainable Tourism framework and GSTC-recognized criteria for business
 es and destinations. GreenStep will guide participants through the proce
 ss of creating their own sustainability action plan, helping to build ca
 pacity and foundational skills in addressing key sustainability challeng
 es facing tourism operators and destinations.\n\nWorkshop 1: Learn\nAn i
 ntroduction to the definitions and principles of sustainable tourism, as
  well as a look at the business case for sustainability and why it is im
 portant to measure sustainability performance.\n\nWorkshop 2: One of the
  most important steps in an organization’s journey is to establish a b
 aseline measurement for overall sustainability performance. This session
  will include an introduction to the Sustainable Tourism assessment tool
  along with other common ways to measure performance, including energy, 
 water, waste, accessibility and more. As the saying goes, what gets meas
 ured, gets managed.\n\nWorkshop 3: Once your baseline performance is und
 erstood, and key challenges and opportunities identified, participants w
 ill be guided through the next step of developing and implementing a sus
 tainability vision, set of goals, and an action plan to improve performa
 nce over time.\n\nWorkshop 4: In the final workshop, participants will l
 earn how to best to track their progress, including establishing account
 ability measures, as well suggested reporting activities. The workshop w
 ill end with a look at how to work towards continual improvement through
  ongoing progress, as the above cycle is repeated annually.\n\n \n\nThe
  Pathway to Net Zero Carbon training MasterClass will provide participan
 ts with the key steps to measuring the carbon footprint of their organiz
 ation based on the internationally accepted Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Protoco
 l, and how to uncover the opportunities to both reduce emissions and sav
 e money. \nIt is broken into the following three steps:\n\nStep 1: The C
 arbon Challenge\nreview GHG accounting and reporting standards, and meth
 ods. We will then guide participants through how to create a map of thei
 r emissions sources to determine what needs to be measured.\n\nIn Step 2
 : How to Measure Your Carbon Footprint, we will walk participants throug
 h how to obtain the data to measure their carbon footprint. We will then
  walk through how to use EcoBase Carbon Software to enter this data and 
 calculate their carbon footprint.\n\nIn Step 3, we will help the partici
 pants on “How to Set Carbon Reduction Goals & Prioritize Actions based
  on a Net Zero Goal” which will then help them to formulate their Stra
 tegy for meeting their targets.\n\n \n\n \n\n \n\n \n\nFast Track to
