SUMMARY:EXA Group Canada Winter Expedition - Northern Ontario
DESCRIPTION:EXA Group Canada is conducting a technical sustainability stu
 dy for the Tourism Industry Association of Canada's Sustainable Developm
 ent Program. Our focus right now is Canada's rural and indigenous commun
 ities. \n\nIn 2022 we conducted technical visits in Nova Scotia and Albe
 rta. From January 2023, we start our winter experience, visiting differe
 nt provinces and territories in Canada. The technical visits are intende
 d to partially understand the current tourism model and economic develop
 ment of the communities visited. \n\nWe want to understand and learn fro
 m the efforts of professionals dedicated to creating new paths for the l
 ocal economy and who use tourism to support sustainable development and 
 the growth of opportunities and productivity in rural communities. \n\nW
 e have a broad, holistic view of the international system and know the i
 mportance of developing actions linked to international commitments. Tec
 hnical visits carry out empirical research work, taking into account the
  understanding of environmental, socioeconomic, cultural, heritage, mark
 etplace, infrastructure and superstructure aspects. \n\nWith communicati
 on support from the Tourism Industry Association of Ontario and Destinat
 ion Northern Ontario, we will be in Thunder Bay, Armstrong, Dryden and K
 enora from January 15 to 20th, 2023. \n\nAs a result of the EXA Group Ca
 nada Winter Expedition, we are producing a book with comprehensive repor
 ts and authentic content on tourism, sustainability and rural developmen
 t. And we are also making a series of video documentaries with interview
 s and the experiences lived in the destinations during the trips. \n\nWe
  want to include this entire collection in our deliveries and share the 
 fantastic work that residents, professionals, businesses and community f
 arms are creating for the world, raising the value of rural communities 
 in the Canada tourism experience for people worldwide. \n\nTake the oppo
